Simple Elegance is also known as "Buzzy". She is a 1997 mare who was born bay with a spotted blanket and has roaned and spotted since her birth. She is a compact mare at l4.2 hands, short coupled and full bodied, with a pretty head.
Her bloodlines include Mighty Shiek and Prince Plaudit. Below are her three sons, all by the same red leopard sire. The 2010 foal, Mariah, was her first for us. The chestnut snowcap colt was Buzzy's gift in 2011. Many of the photos of Buzzy and her foals are compliments of her previous owner, Tanya Webster. The most recent photos are in Iowa with her new owners at Double A and J Cattle.
Buzzy is triple registered with the APHC, the Foundation Appaloosa Horse Registry, and the Colorado Ranger Horse Association

Buzzy left on a Friday for her new home in Iowa. She is l4 years old and was ridden for a few weeks at age 3. During her three year stay here in KY, Buzzy did a good job as a broodmare, but we did not ride her. After just a couple of days with her new owner, Jeremy.. low and behold.. a RIDING MARE on Monday!
